Does this story sound okay?

Kylie and Alex (the main character is Alex) get an assignment for Design class saying that they have to design an outfit and hand it in. The top five designs get models and they put their clothes into a fashion show. The winner can get their own fashion line with Mykala Nista, one of the best fashion designer’s ever. Alex is a girl who loves to dream at home but doesn’t want to stand out and be the best at school. At home Alex designs her dream designs and her “for school only” designs and puts both in her backpack. The dream copy falls put of her bag and Kara her enemy finds it and thinks it’s so good so she changes the name on it to hers and hands it in. When Kara is one of the top fives and Alex isn’t, Kylie stands up for Alex and tells the design teacher. The design teacher says to Alex, “Well, I guess you’re the top five.” And Alex says, “But I never wanted to be in the first place.” And someone else is picked. But the fifth person, Bianca, feels guilty and with her family going on vacation the day of the fashion show, Bianca and Alex work on Alex’s dream designs together. Between all that Alex’s crush Michael admits he likes her and has never had the courage to talk to her and when everyone is hating on Alex for almost getting chosen and saying no and being “selfish” he is the only one around to help her. After they get together, when Bianca is suppose to be at the fashion show, Alex shows her designs instead, but comes in second at the talent show as she wasn’t really suppose to be there in the first place.
