Being in Seaside Heights while Jersey Shore is filming?

I am planning to head down to seaside heights for a couple days this summer. I heard that the Jersey shore cast will be filming in the time that I am going to be there... Has anyone ever been there during filming? Is it an annoyance? Does it effect anything? Because isn't there bodyguards, police, everywhere? And if you wanted to buy something from the shore store.. If anyone has ever been there during filming, please tell me about it!!
